Over to the bus lot. Line up along the curb and prepare for your own ass whoopin’. Suicide Style. Use the bus spots for the rep count. Run to the first number, start with 14 x Mike Tyson’s in the bus spot, run back to the curb. Repeato to the next number but now 13 x Big Boys. So on and so forth.
Mosey to main strip. 10 x Squats at Light 1. 5 x Merkins at L2. All the way to the end.

With a few minutes to go I called it and asked the pax to think about today’s workout and what they were thinking about this AM. Were they thinking about chasing Spitz, not letting Smithers get by them or just kind of out there? No wrong answers but who would have known it would make Mad Dog and Elmers run harder on the straightaway thinking it was a pop quiz of some sort. 45 seconds to go. Elbow plank.

I used COT for pax to share the answer to the question, “what did you think about during today’s workout?” I broke the ice and shared that I was not going to let Smithers get by me. EVERY single workout I look around, find men to chase and others to stay out in front of. I’m not in competition with them but this is my internal barometer to ensure I’m not going through the motions.
The hard part is waking up. Participating in a way to achieve your goals is up to you. Do you leave workouts feeling worse mentally? Come to me to talk about it or another pax you feel comfortable with. You are not alone.
The other pax answers varied from “nothing” to “chasing __(pax)___”. What should you be thinking about before you post? in a workout? Afterwards? No idea. That’s up to you.
