Then into the first EMOM; viz., the “Diesel EMOM”, which consists of the following exercises every minute:
– 2 burpees
– 4 merkins
– 6 big boy sit-ups
– 8 squats
– 10 side straddle hops
We did that for 15 minutes (instead of the usual 40) and it was definitely a fan favorite, except for Fuse Box, who quickly decided to do his own thing.
We then did a lap around Mount X and moved on to the “Rock EMOM”, which consists of the following exercises every minute:
– 2 squat thrusters
– 4 tricep extensions
– 6 bicep curls
– 8 goblet squats
– 10 bench/chest presses
Fuse Box mutinied even earlier on this one, but most others gutted it out for 10 minutes. :muscle:
Afterburn was an inspiration doing almost everything one-legged as he continues to recover from a torn Achilles.
Draper was also impressive in doing it all as the only double respect present.
Elmers thought there was too much of a break between rounds.
Posse was trying to make sweat angels on the blacktop. :angel:
Twinkle Toes, Hi-Hat, and Premature were the silent assassins just doing the work with no complaints.
And Kermit was showing how it’s done, but definitely needs to graduate to a bigger rock. :rock:
