What had happened was:
The concept was easy. The plan was nearly flawless for its first time. The execution was a burner. The pax were awesome!!
DiCCS given. No warmup, but pax warmed up quick nonetheless. Split up into two groups. Explained the board [see picture]. Go down the stairs. Do a set. Go up the stairs. Erase a dot. Repeato until all dots are gone. All exercises with rucks on except for the mosey laps. Run to end of stadium and onto the field. Once around. Run back.
Team Indy mixed it up a bit going back and forth since Mad Dog always says variety is the spice of life. Team Jones brute forced their way through and went down the list in order. They forgot to come back to the board after the first lap, so they “finished” slightly earlier. I’d say both teams kept pace with each other overall.
We had 5.5 minutes of mary after. American hammers 4×30, high plank a minute, slow LBCs x30, high plank a minute, Freddy mercury 4×30, have-a-nice-day for 40 sec on the sweet cool concrete to round it out.
COT for CoR/NoR and Transporter led us out. 60% represented at coffeeteria afterwards.
I can only speak for myself, but the HR was elevated, the sweat was running, and my legs are feeling like they went through the gauntlet. It was great to see the mumble chatter at a minimum, so hopefully all got a good workout in. Don’t skip leg day!!
