No on really cares what we did at a running workout so I will keep it short (for me at least) and spend time on the meat aka Moleskin.

We stretched, ran all 4 cul-de-sacs in Champion Forest. The cul-de-sac runs were higher tempo and we hit each one three times. The between runs were longer and slower paced.

Those that didn’t follow directions arrived to COT at 6:15. Those that listened and attempted Paula Abdul runs arrived 30 seconds late. No reticule of the Q for being late, though it may have been because the Q proactively chastised those who took off for COT early.

MOLESKIN:
– Exited to have all 3 of LRC there today. Smithers leading the pack today. Make no mistake, the Effies Duo are out in full force at workout and looking for material.
– Gerber earned his “does a bear shit in the woods badge today”. I really wish that was still a thing (shout out to Deflated’s Mendix site from a couple years ago). I can’t wait for the neighborhood Karen to complain about people not cleaning up after their dogs on Facebook today. Lets all hope she doesn’t include the picture along with the rant.
– We all knew Rubbermaid and Drive By only have one gear (be it a long one), but today we found out that they literally don’t have but one gear and that gear is not reverse. Both refused the backwards run up hill. Booo! Ok, one was due to injury so I will let it slide.
– Animal earned his name today. He ran to the workout from Lawson with a weighted vest on, got an additional prerun in before we started, then dropped the vest for a 5.3 mile beat down. Great work today.
– I ended my watch and Garmin told me my optimal rest was 58 hours. By far the longest recommended rest it’s ever given me. I suck at taking compliments (I suck at taking criticism too), but apparently Sea Bass was right to tell me good work today. He’s a little loose with his praise but he is a preacher so we will let it slide.
-Site Q’s did an awesome job circling back (for me), and the “Photonic Shields” were in full force today. I believe that was Mad Dog honking at us as we crossed over to Champion Forest so he got to see his work in all its glory. Was that a tear you were wiping from the corner of your eye MD?
– Thanks for a chance to lead a great site. I tried to keep to the spirit of Express, a mix of distances and speeds.
