We did the standard Mosey around Cutty, took a brief sightseeing trip to check out the track, then stopped at the shed as I think some people got lost. Plank w/ stuff, then to Lawson through the treacherous dark grass cut through. Glad everyone was safe.
THE THANG:.
8 hand release merkins at every light pole to the pool. There were 8.
Wasn’t feeling the pool so we went to PawPaw lane. 15 jump squats at the bottom, then 15 merkins at every light pole up up up Great Rd. There were 4
We kept going and tried a little catch me if you can down the street where the model house was on, then to the end of the cul de sac. All I know is that it was far. 5, then 3 bomb jacks before catching your partner. Bit of a cluster.
Between the cul de sacs – at bottom of first one, 15 bomb jacks, at top 15 Bonnie Blair’s. Doing that twice.
Back though the trail for the last 10 minutes. On the way back through Lawson, 10 Mike Tyson’s at various stops. We did 50?

All got in about 5 miles-of running with some pain stations along the way.
Good showing with a veteran crew. Instructions were followed with minimal input thankfully and I’m pretty sure the form police are banned from attending Ignition so all good there.
Shout out to Dasher and Bottlecap who were at the first ever Ignition workout 5.5 years ago. Foundation and Deflated there for week 3. Hooch the next week. I’m sure Gerber was probably hurt else he would have been there. Easy Button was grounded I think. Rest of the guys have all been regulars or semi-regulars at Ignition for a while now, always working hard. Rockwell was injured today and still pushing through it.
Speeds and form quality are obviously different but the one thing they all share is that they work hard and want to better themselves (despite Strava telling me I’m getting old😫). Makes me almost want to write down a plan for my next Q. Almost. FYI-don’t do catch me if you can with Rainman. You can’t.
Until next time.
