It had been a while since we went over to Dogwood park so today was the day we made it back. Also we switched up kettlebells for sandbags.
Everyone grab a sandbag and off we went across the street. Dropped the bags on the gravel path and kept going to the wet grassy area for the warm up.
Now it’s time to get after it. Part 1) 3 laps around the pond with 6 stations and a set of stairs. Step ups, perfect merkins, burpees, BB, jump squats, and dips. Chastain got 4 laps while others circled back when done.
Part 2). Grab the sandbag up the gravel path/hill. At the top we did squat thrusters and back at the bottom we did sandbag burpees. Some did 3 while a few others did 4 while circling back.
About 10 minutes to go when started back. Out by the road we did a lunge walk and job with the sandbag. Cross the road together. A few minutes to go so we knocked out 7 rounds of merkin/shoulder tap webb.
Gerber had to leave early but got in 7 miles before we started.
Deadwood and Rockslide were comparing ant bites.
Chastain and Chatterbox was leading from the front all morning.
Hollywood graced us with his presence today.
Blackhat and Tron brought the 2.0’s which is always great have them around.
Heartbreaker has been very consistent with his Saturday post.
U-Haul is fitting into the group nicely and consistently showing up and pushing through leg pain.
Since Hooch skipped a few days this week he felt obligated to get a workout in.
