Punxsy at the VQ today, Thanks to the group of men that came out and supported the effort!

WARMUP: Mosey around the well lit Publix parking lot, stretching and general warmup with merkins, planks, quad/calf stretching, Moroccan night clubs, warrior pose, etc…

THE THANG: 50 x Tysons, 100 x merkins, 100 x squats broken up by a long stretch of running up to a stop sign and back (about 200 meters total up and back each) Being a VQ, I didn’t account for how many reps of each exercise in between sets, thank goodness for the veterans and we quickly decided on 25 reps and run, making it a total of 6 sets, this routine took a solid 25 mins, felt pretty decent burn after.

Next was an abs circuit, planks, flutters, LBC’s, pretzels. All at 20 – 25 reps for a nice little burn, had group take turns counting.

3 sets of Bear Crawl and into Lunge walks covering a 50 meter stretch. Mosey to the starting point = 1 set.

Recovered with Side straddle hops x 40 in honor of @chastains 40th birthday, followed by some merkins and planks

With 2 mins left, mosey back to COT where @dunkin led us through a straight leg exercise to finish out the workout.

Lots to learn from the VQ, including clear rep counts, leveraging more partner work to keep group together, and learning how to suck air and talk at the same time.

Overall really appreciate the opportunity to Q a session and thank the group of men mentioned in this tag for putting up for a rookie. Great experience overall and appreciate the leadership in the group.

Shoutout to @posse and @onestar for some coaching and advice on the VQ.
