YHC got us moseying and headed to the glorious Titan Turf for 2x Starfish (merkins, Hurleys, dry docks, air squats and burpees). Some alternating bear crawls and lunges with merkins and bomb jacks mixed in. Mosey back to COT for Hatchet on KBs.
A fun time was had by all as we did some curls, squats and tris while Hatchet tried to sell us on the idea of each carrying his weighted sweat bag rucksack. Rifle carries, then some rifle carries, then some partner work involving a nice KB rotation along with rifle carries. A nice mix of ab work in there (crunchy pretzels?). Overall, Hatchet took a page from the White House playbook with “purposeful strategic ambiguity” and indeed, it kept us all on our toes.

Thanks for rifle carrying with me for 30 minutes straight. You may laugh now…but I bet them shoulders will remind you of that burn when you get up tomorrow….or maybe not.
But seriously, thank you for joining us today to get a burn on and honor our brother Cutlet. Seize everyday, don’t take it for granted. That sounds cliche, but it’s true. Let’s honor our brother in the way we live our lives.
This is a good thing we’ve got going here. Cutlet dove into the fellowship of F3 just as much as the workouts. It helped him a ton. If you’re lonely, reach out to somebody. There’s some awesome guys in our group. And even though it may feel awkward to reach out at first, you’ll be glad you did. If you’re a consistent presence at workouts in F3 waxhaw, and you’re lonely, that’s on you. So do something about it.
That may sound harsh. But it’s true.
