What had happened was:
Contrary to popular belief…..I had a plan. Kind of. I had a plan for the beginning. And for the end. But the middle not so much. I didn’t expect 15 to be there. That’s a good problem to have though.
I didn’t expect the humidity to be so thick that we could cut it with our nipples. I’m not in Alaska anymore.

When I showed up to a big group I was a little nervous. It was a mix of all kinds that showed up to impromptu…..Team Marvin guys, team waxhaw guys, old guys, older guys, the oldest guy, and a few brave souls under 50 years old.
I knew Stagecoach would be there. He smashed that :hc: the night before.
Zinfandel was there too and his hair was slicked back very nicely. He looked to be ready for miles. I said hi to Chainsaw as we both exited our trucks at the same time……he just looked at me. Touché chainsaw. Touché.

So we ran some. We introduced the calf stretch, runners stretch, pigeon one leg at a time….not both. Schneider’s head exploded once he saw that and he was in deep thought the rest of the workout. Ricky Bobby thought about it for a while. But then he figured it out.
We did some merkins. And some big boys. Some bear crawls. Some lunges. Some more ab stuff. Repeato.

About that time Deflated said F it and ran off to do his own thing. Understood.
I still had my boys Noonan Deep Dish J-Woww Twinkle toes in my corner. But that was fading fast.
Mad Dog and Rockwell had a few comments, but as always, it was done with grace and softness…I think.
I can’t remember if Blue Screen of DEATH worked out with us or Swarm. Doesn’t matter now, he’s in this back blast.

Many thanks to Smithers for giving me the keys and letting me drive this morning. Will he do it again….I don’t know. He’d have to be pretty drunk, but it could happen.

We got it in today. The boys pushed well. I was prepared…..but not prepared enough. When guys wake up at 4/5am to come work out, they should get nothing less than excellence from their Q. Keep that in mind. I know I will.
