YHC arrived at COT with about 30 seconds to go before launch time. YHC strongly considered turning Impromptu into mash. Turns out running 400s is hard. YHC also considered telling everyone else we were running 400s and then sitting down and watching.
Instead we did a short warmup in front of the school before heading to the Pathway to the Palace for The Beast. 6 exercises. 6 reps each. 6 total rounds. Sounds easy until you realize it’s kinda like progressive corners and you have to run back to the start each time. So, about 1.5 miles of running right there.
Zinfandel made a pitstop at Transporter’s Shed and I didn’t want him to miss out on anything so we did some wall sits, air jabs, air presses, and squats while we waited. We also considered pennying him in but no one had spare change. Oh well, next time.
It’s always a good reminder for everyone that Chastain is a Jackass™ so that’s what we did. Everyone loved it.
As we moseyed up the hill I offered a choice of left or right. J-Woww and Dana both agreed on right and even though they tried to change their minds later, the course was set and so we headed towards the stairs.
Here we did 7s with Mike Tysons at the top, Big Bois at the bottom and 7 Speed Skaters (2=1 duh) every time you rounded the corner past the light pole. We had so much fun that time flew by and we wrapped it up with only 4 minutes to go.
A quick mosey back to COT and we finished with around 30 Big Bois until time.
Good job fellas
PS – Chastain went home and took a nap
PPS – There were a couple ruckers/walkers lurking around the school as well. I heard Chainsaw was running at one point but Deadwood threatened to tell Tammy, so he won’t do that again
