What had happened was:

YHC rolled into the gloom feeling spry, sea legs steady, ready to lead from the front. That optimism lasted about one warm-up lap. Somewhere between the 50-ish Mericans and the first round of swings, your captain caught a sudden bout of pirate fatigue… possibly early onset deck rot 😪
No matter. 20 pax showed and put in honest work.

EMOM grinder was the thang 45 on / 15 off with no mercy and no parley – swings, squats, deadlift high Pulls, snatches, and lunges. After each round we sprinted to the curb and back before stacking core work like cannons balls. LBCs, flutter presses, to hammers. By the end of round 3 I want sure which was more inflamed, my upper body rash or the PAX.

Next block: Tysons, donkey kicks, and more sprints. 3 rounds followed by another core ladder with the to addition of our friend Simba.

A lot of snatch work (always a crowd pleaser) may have caused an outbreak of scurvy but spending quality time on snatches is always worth it. It was abundantly clear that Schneider has a particular appreciation for snatches.

Great to see Fuse Box and U-Haul in the gloom — our paths haven’t crossed much lately, but iron sharpens iron and it was good to share the deck again.

We closed with plank pull-throughs until time — consider the deck officially swabbed.

Oh and also the music sucked for the first 30min… My bad.
