What had happened was: The stars aligned on a beautiful Union County morning and PAX from across the land — except for the Big Lots of Briar Crest — descended on NoMa. That’s North of Marvin, for the uninitiated.

How do you celebrate such a day in NoMa? With No Màs, of course. One witty, ex-Nantan Non-tan commented that it sounds a lot like his weinke of “Stop it!” — very few similarities, but that comment did earn Hatchet’s ire and a repeat round of curls to start it off. After a few rounds of that, the Q said “No Màs” and we did a coupon rifle carry around the parking lot.

Before all of that, though, the MASHers missed out on a mosey tour of the campus and fun warm-up exercises such as the goofball, hillbillies, Hillbilly Rockettes, and some stretching vaguely resembling yoga.

Hatchet made sure we were all impressed by the homeschooling mathematical talents of the froggiest of the SoWa youth. If we’d done many more laps, Kermit was prepared to count by the Fibonacci Sequence.

Surprisingly, Kid Rock wanted more leg work, just days after running 100 miles — Hatchet was attempting to be considerate and plan his weinke around KR, but apparently he was glutton for more punishment.

The final thing left was Hatchet’s request, “Rooster get your big balls out.” The PAX were nervous since it’s school property, but Rooster obliged and returned with his double 70-pound kettlebells — yes, they are big balls. A few were man enough to hang the balls bells around the circle in front of the other PAX and it appeared that Damascus enjoyed it the most, but everyone was impressed.

Exercise, coffeeteria with Wilbur working the science lab, and plenty of solid 2nd F afterwards. And a solid F3 testimonial from Hatchet and others to wrap up. Beautiful Thursday, men!
